 Rudy Maxa recently shot two episodes in French Polynesia. The programs were co-produced by Bleu Lagon productions and with the assistance from Tahiti Tourisme, Air Tahiti Nui, InterContinental French Polynesia, PaulGauguin Cruise, Tahiti Pearl Market and La Maison de la Perle. The two episodes will be broadcast on PBS fall 2011. The trip took Rudy Maxa from Papeete, the capital city on Tahiti, to Bora Bora, Moorea, Fakarava and Hiva Oa (one of the Marquesas Islands approximately 850 miles from Tahiti). In addition to filming "Rudy Maxa's World," Rudy also recorded two radio shows on the islands visited.
